Kennedy Decompression training consists of 3 months of reviewing detailed video seminars regarding the Kennedy Decompression Technique™. In addition to the course study online, a two day hands-on seminar provides experience as well as a practical examination in order to complete certification.

Chapter 1 - Decompression Overview Facts vs. Fiction; Patient Selection, Anatomy

Chapter 2 - Patient Selection/Classification, Positioning Parameters, Differential Diagnosis Disc vs. Disorder

Chapter 3 - Pull Patterns; Discussion of Various time/force interplay of pull skeletons available both specific patient selection classification and theory

Chapter 4 - Time considerations; Overall length of treatment and time of pull cycles

Chapter 5 - Force: How much, Body Weight considerations and the physics of force

Chapter 6 - Angle: Discussion of history of angular traction and clinical considerations of patent condition, motion sensitivity and directional preference.

Chapter 7 - Cervical: Selection, classification force and time considerations. Detailed physical examination and considerations regarding the lordosis and the effect of axial elongation.

Chapter 8 - Adjunctive procedures and Laser: a Cursory discussion of Electric Stimulation and Ultrasound in the traction procedures, and a detailed discussion of the theory and clinical considerations of laser for disc healing.

Chapter 9 - Stabilizer discussion: Belting and patient handling considerations

Chapter 10 - Contraindications: A detailed discussion of the direct and relative contraindications.
