Dr. John “Jack” W. Fulkman III is the owner and President of Gateway Chiropractic - South Shore, PLLC.  He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College and holds postgraduate certifications in Sports Medicine and Acupuncture.  Part of Dr. Fulkman's training included an orthopedic spine surgery rotation at UTMB in Galveston.  He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Gannon University (Erie , PA ), where he was a standout running back in varsity football.  He also attended graduate school at West Virginia University. 

Dr. Fulkman is a native of New Castle, PA a northern suburb of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Fulkman is preceded in the profession by his great-grandfather, George Fulkman Sr., who graduated from Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1923.

Sports Medicine is a passion for Dr Fulkman.  He has been the team doctor for Clear Lake High School for 6 years and serves as the team chiropractor for Clear Creek, Dickinson and Clear Falls High Schools.  Advancement of the profession is another focus of his and he has returned to campus at Texas Chiropractic College to serve on the Board of Regents.   

Dr. Fulkman is married to Dr. Deb Palazzi, an Infectious Disease Pediatrician with Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.  The couple are proud parents of their son John W. Fulkman IV, "Jake".
